About Founder
Francis Okodogbe
Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
Francis is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 28 years of experience in the mental health field. He earned his Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in psychiatry from Walden University. Throughout his career, Francis has been dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care across various levels of mental health illness and wellness journeys.
His approach to mental health is holistic, focusing on trauma reduction and meeting patients where they are. He specializes in working with individuals experiencing their first mental health challenges, those re-entering the community after hospitalizations or emergency visits, and patients stepping down to a lower level of care.
Francis offers ongoing medication management for various mental health diagnoses and incorporates diverse therapeutic approaches in his practice, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy.
